- Contact details you provide: name, email address, shipping/billing address
- Phone number — only if you join our pre-launch waitlist, so we can notify you when pre-orders open
- Account information: email, and an encrypted password (we never see or store your actual password)
- Order history: what you've purchased, order status, and amounts
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor — we never see or store your full card details
- Basic technical data: approximate location (for currency display), and aggregate visit counts
How we use your information
- To process and fulfil your orders
- To manage your account and order history
- To notify waitlist members when pre-orders open, and to honour early-bird discounts for those who signed up in time
- To send you updates you've opted into (e.g. launch announcements, offers) — you can unsubscribe anytime
- To improve our website and product range
Who we share information with
We only share information with trusted service providers who help us run Kasa Essentials, including:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — secure account and order storage
- Brevo — email communications
- Netlify — website hosting
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data security
All data is encrypted in transit (via HTTPS/SSL) and at rest. Access to customer data is restricted using industry-standard security practices, including row-level access controls on our database.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us (see below). You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email we send.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies/local storage strictly for site functionality — such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
